MESP: A Celebration of Diversity and Culture

MESP 2008 (March 1-11) is now over. Thanks to all of you who provided help and support for our fifth annual festival!

If you have not already done so, we invite you to offer feedback on MESP 2008 or ideas for MESP 2009. Next year's MESP will be February 28 to  March 15, 2009. See information below.

All of the principal faith and spiritual traditions of Scotland are invited to participate in this spiritual, educational, artistic and cultural and international celebration of peace and understanding. The non-political nature of the Festival allows for an exceptional diversity among the participants. In total there were over 35 events in the 2008 Festival.

The Festival is organized by the Edinburgh International Centre for Spirituality and Peace (EICSP), a Scottish Charity, and the Edinburgh Institute for Advanced Learning, EIAL, and with the support of many other organizations.

Event: Edinburgh Institute for Advanced Learning

Interspiritual Leadership Program

Dates: November 13-16 at Wiston Lodge, nr Biggar, Scotland

Event Description: A program to develop leaders in interspiritual practices, for peacemaking and service, in ministries of spiritual direction, counseling, teaching, and ritual. November program: "Healing Breath: The Aramaic Beatitudes of Jesus."
